2230A Dissolution Sampler is No Longer Supported
Distek first announced the discontinuation of the
Model 2230A Dissolution Sampler in 2002 with the release of the
EVO 4300.
At that time we indicated that customer support and parts availability would
continue for five years from the date of the last manufactured unit. We
have continued to provide support for the product beyond our commitment even
in the face of parts and material availability becoming increasingly more
difficult to procure. At present we are no longer able to continue
that same level of support and must discontinue our support commitment as of
August 1, 2008 and begin best efforts. Best efforts is defined as the
continuation of technical support without the guarantee an attempted repair
will be successful. In addition, replacement parts will be limited,
refurbished, or not available.
While end-of-life announcements can disrupt business,
our goal is to minimize that impact by officially announcing the end
of support of the product and offering our customers another opportunity to
trade-in the Model 2230A for an EVO 4300.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may
cause and we would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your
