announce the approved patent for their dissolution vessel washing system,
VIP 4400 (US 7,658,198 B2). The VIP 4400 offers the now patented “Cyclone”
wash nozzle which provides a full 360° of wash.
Typically dissolution vessels are removed from their assigned
position on the dissolution unit and then transported to another station for
cleaning. Vessel cleaning involves pouring out the contents, washing and
drying the vessels. Upon completion of cleaning, the vessel should be
returned to the assigned location where the centering of the vessel and
height of the stirring element must be verified. This verification process
needs to be repeated each time a vessel is reinstalled to maintain
consistent and accurate control over critical parameters.

verification process can be tedious, time-consuming and subject to human
