Field Service Coordinator

Distek, Inc., a rapidly growing leader in the scientific instrumentation field, located in North Brunswick, New Jersey is currently seeking a Field Service Coordinator in the New Jersey area to schedule service calls at customer sites.



  • Schedule installations, validation, and repair services
    • Coordinate with customers and production to determine schedule for repairs, validation services, contract services, and installation of new instruments
    • Identify needed resources, schedule, and resolve scheduling conflicts
    • Manage scheduling logistics of instruments, equipment, and travel plans
    • Ensure that service orders and related paperwork resulting from field service calls are properly processed and closed
    • Coordinate with Administration the billing of service calls
    • Alert Service managers to recurring service problems
    • Assist field personnel with non-technical issues and problems
  • Supervision of Field Team Support
    • Provide work direction and training
    • Monitor and evaluate subordinate’s performance
    • Coach and counsel subordinates toward better performance
  • Follow-up with customers to ensure satisfaction with all aspects of service
  • Ensure that all service databases are correct, current, and properly maintained
  • Ensure that all Qualification and Validation Binders, manuals, and documentation for all validation and related services are properly produced and distributed on a timely basis
  • ISO
    • Ensure that department functions in accordance with ISO standards
    • Perform responsibilities in adherence to ISO standards
  • Participate in projects and special assignments as they develop
