The BIOne Single-Use Fermentor (SUF) is engineered with a disposable headplate welded to a triple-layered liner. 

• Assembled in Distek’s ISO 7 cleanroom with USP Class VI materials and gamma sterilized, minimizes contamination risk. The BIOne SUF is ready-to-use out of the box.
• Closed system removes the need for cleaning, assembly, or autoclave sterilization.
• Available in a 2L and 10L volume, the BIOne Single-Use Fermentor offers reduced turnaround time and seamless transitions between processes.
• Features an agnostic design compatible with most common bioprocessing controllers.

E. coli Growth Profile: BIOne SUF vs. Control

• E. coli growth profiles were evaluated in a 2L working volume BIOne SUF and glass vessel control for a 22-hour batch process.
• Both systems were operated with identical conditions.
• Similar growth and titer were observed in the BIOne SUF and glass vessel control.
• Performance results indicate that the BIOne Single-Use Fermentor is a suitable bench scale model for microbial fermentation process development and material generation.

The low antioxidant bioprocess film used is comprised of 3 layers, each serving a specific function:

• Outer Layer (LDPE) – Mechanical Strength
• Middle Barrier Layer (EVOH) – Gas Barrier
• Contact Layer (ULDPE) – Cell Culture Compatible, Biologically Inert
